Jay-Z's Response To MC Hammer.

Brooklyn's own "Jigga Man" Jay-Z is taking the high road in ignoring that buffoonery posing itself as the MCHammer "Diss Record"- Better Run Run- and BullSh*t video to match. Let me take you back a bit on how things popped off: on a Kanye joint called "So Appalled," Jay-Z makes an appearance & spits as follows, "Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused/ I lost 30 mil' so I spent another 30/ 'Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me." Eventually, this fell into the ears of Hammer & he's NONE too happy. So, he did what any other outdated artist fiendin' for a comeback would do. Hammer got in the studio & recorded some stuff in retaliation of what he perceived to be beef. Jay- being the bigger & better dude- has decided to just let it rock. Here's what he says in an interview:

Proud of Jigga for not giving this any more credence. Hammer, not so much, here's why: Jay didn't say anything that has not been said by a multitude of folks. When discussing great financial woes of those who were once rich & powerful, MC Hammer's name always comes up like clock work. Why now would you want to stage this half cocked counter attack against one of the greatest of our time?  And he didn't even get creative or inventive. he used the same ol' tired, pathetic, corny, illuminati references & took a few shots at Beyonce. Nice Hammer. I'm disappointed & disgusted, that as a man of the cloth you decided to use the "devil worship" innuendo for financial gain. You're not worried about either his soul or salvation, because if you were, you would have got at a brother when his lyrics were purely misogynistic & celebrated ghetto nonsense. Hypocrite.

Jay, I LOVE you for just letting this dude "live" a little bit. Sometimes, the best way to win is to not even play at all. Let these clowns keep running their mouth while you run your business.

Spread Love ... It's The Bklyn Way!
