Last night a bevy of beautiful big bombshells flooded Bo Concept in NYC to celebrate “Girls with Curves.” Another Uber Sexy LuxeLife Media event- with PR extraordinaire Christina Rice at the helm- the occasion was the Monif C: 5 Years Of Style, Curves, & Sex Appeal. Disgusted with the one dimensional image of beauty we are force fed by the fashion industry, big & beautiful Monif Clarke decided it was time to show the world that beauty & fashion goes beyond a size two. With her mom- Elaine Clarke- as her co-pilot, the two launched Monif C 5 years ago & haven’t looked back. Conceived to reaffirm every woman's desire for an inspired life, luxury, and unadulterated sex appeal, Monif C. is an unapologetic stand for high fashion style for plus size women.
Being a full-figured woman myself, it was refreshing to be in a room full of women with whom I can identify. The fashions were Blazing Hot, and the models were Gorgeous. Coming in various shapes, sizes, & colors, these Sistas were Super, X-Tra, Ultra, Uber FABULOUS! From the models to the designer to the supporters, everyone exhibited pride & elegance. These Sistas were BAD! And I, for one, am definitely inspired to do better & be better. Game stepped up!
